In our continuous efforts to improve and upgrade our communications and engagement with students, parents and teachers we have launched the Gortnor Abbey School App. The School is committed to adopting this new medium as our central platform for all school communications and information. We have also just recently added the facility for parents to pay online bills that are due to the school. This facility is a welcome addition to our school app.
The Gortnor Abbey mobile app allows parents to keep up to date with all the latest news, dates, photo galleries, newsletters and letters home all in one handy place on their phone. Parents can also receive push notifications from the school and subscribe to alert groups. It also allows you to submit absence slips, permission slips to leave school early, and school reports.
The app is free to download. Please give it a try.

Once installed, you can click from the main menu of the app for:
Alerts: Recent notifications sent by the school

Calendar: Latest diary dates, which you can add to your device calendar.

HOW TO GET TO THE APP
1) Please use one of the links below to download and install the app (for free) from the relevant app store.
2) The first time you open your school’s mobile app you’ll be prompted to allow push notifications (this may vary on device). This will enable you to receive notifications from the school.
3) Click on the Settings icon on the top right, then Channels and opt-in to receive notifications from the school.
